Diagnosis and Treatment Services in Urology

Modern drug and surgical methods such as TUR, GreenLight Laser PVP, GreenLight Laser HPS, and Feedback Thermotherapy are used in treating urinary problems caused by prostate enlargement (BPH). Additionally, services include prostate cancer screening and the management of prostate infections.

Our urology departments also perform urological cancer surgeries, pediatric urology procedures, urodynamic evaluations, and treatments for male sexual dysfunctions, alongside routine operations such as TUR prostate and bladder surgeries, open and closed kidney stone procedures (ureteroscopy, PCNL), and ESWL (shock wave lithotripsy) treatments.

Urooncology

Our urooncology unit specializes in nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer and radical cystectomy for bladder cancer. With the support of anesthesiology and intensive care units, complex surgeries such as kidney and testicular cancer operations are also performed. In some cases, treatment is coordinated with medical oncology and radiotherapy departments.

Endourology and Stone Diseases

Stone disease is managed through both non-surgical and surgical methods. In addition to ESWL (stone breaking), procedures such as ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) are routinely performed.

Female Urology

Diagnosis and treatment services are offered for urinary incontinence (stress and urge types) and interstitial cystitis. The Urodynamics Unit evaluates urination problems using advanced diagnostic techniques.

Our specialists diagnose and manage urinary incontinence in women, nighttime wetting in children, and voiding dysfunction in patients with neurological conditions such as spina bifida.

Andrology

The andrology unit focuses on erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and male infertility. Evaluation and treatment plans are prepared in coordination with other relevant medical departments to ensure optimal outcomes.

Pediatric Urology

Pediatric urology addresses congenital or acquired urinary and genital conditions beginning from the prenatal period through childhood. Conditions treated include hydrocele, cord cysts, undescended testicles, testicular emergencies (such as torsion), circumcision, and hypospadias.

Hypospadias (where the urethral opening is located below its normal position) is a condition that requires surgical correction, which is successfully performed in our urology department.
